Things to remember
- Yoga is non-competitive.
- A posture that is easy for one may be difficult for another.
- Yoga is not about twisting the body into strange positions.
- When you are ready to move on, your body will know.
- If there is anything you do not wish to do, you do not have to do it!
- Leggings (or shorts) are particularly good for both men and woman and layers of comfortable clothes, which are easy to move in.
- Morning classes: breakfast at least an hour before class.
- Evening classes: water and a light snack about an hour before class.
